Smaller hole means more pressure increasing size of hole reduces pressure I have a glass rim both sides of tank that the glass condensation cover sits on along back wall there are 3inch cut outs at both ends I got a couple things to try at wknd when get back so hopefully will have sorted soon and the PG will be happy t

You are 100% correct. I have done the same thing with the spray bar on my 65l tank running a 550lph canister filter.
