Hiya,

You probably dont remember, but way back in 2007 (October - I just checked) I posted in a panic about a pearl danio who had ripped his gill flap right off (you it was called an operculum). You gave me advice on what to do and generally calmed me down and provided encouragement! Anyway, I'm just writing to say that he was absolutely fine and dandy after I followed your advice, but started to really age a couple of months ago - he just got thinner and thinner. This morning he was still swimming around but tonight when I got in from work he was too weak to swim and he died quite quickly and peacefully. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you again for giving the advice so long ago and tell you that my Mr Operculum did live quite a long life afterwards :thanks: I am so going to miss him :-(

Wendy

I do remember Wendy.
I'm glad he lived a long a happy life, 3 years is about average for a danio so you did well to keep
him so long, given his disadvantage. :good:

love that you named him Mr Operculum

Thanks for updating me, that was very nice of you.
(hugs)
