Darkehorse
Fish Fanatic
My current setup is as follows:
30 Gallon freshwater, no plants except for Mossballs.
Stocking:
1 Peacock Goby
1 Golden Wonder Killifish
2 Bolivian Rams
4 Praecox Neon Rainbows
1 'bumble bee' catfish (actual species unknown)
1 Otto catfish
1 American Flagfish
I was at the fish store yesterday and they had a large sized peacock goby (although labeled 'eye spot sleeper goby', all my research says this is the same as a peacock goby), and I was considering adding it to my tank.
My current peacock is shy, 'she' doesn't bother any of the other fish, and is a little over 1 inch long. I've had her for about 3 months with no problems whatsoever. The peacock in the store is almost 2 inches long, probably as big as my killifish. Would it be a mistake to introduce 'him' into my tank? I love the personality of my current peacock, but I've heard they can be 'grumpy'. I'm wondering if it wouldn't improve the quality of life for my current peacock by giving it a playmate.
I appreciate any feedback you can give.
