went to the LFS Fairmount aquarium, i saw what they called pea puffers. Those little guys are so small!!!

Pea Puffer is just another name for Dwarf Puffer :) And yes, they are tiny

i had a dwarf puffer a while back, soooo cute!

I was a little confused by the pea puffer vs dwarf puffer thing at first, too. I called a lfs asking for dwarfs and she said "uhhh...we have pea puffers..?" Me- "...o..k..." *hits google *

But yes, they're the same as everyone has said. I got one a week or two ago and at first he wasn't eating, rather skinny and dare I say...a little dumb! He'd stare googly eyed investigating every centimeter of driftwood while bloodworms fell around him! Now, he's aware of my existence and actually comes up to my finger for the food. He's very cute!

My biggest ones are about 1" + tail :)

I finally broke down and bought 2 of them.
i did some fish moving, and basically got them all alone.
they have the following company,
10 gallon tank with some amano shrimp and 2 crs
1 oto

They were doing great for a few days, I come home today and (this is totally my fault) 1 was drifting to close to the filter. well poor little guy stuck and suffered to his death.   I feel so bad about knowing that i could have simply put a stupid piece of foam over it to prevent.
The other is MIA.

i have looked all over the tank. i hope he is hiding. Will have to get some foam over that thing asap.
This has never happened before. I had shrimp and bumble goby, no issues, he was just a little to curious i guess.
i said my sorry's and goodbyes.
lesson learned

sorry too hear mate :(

They are exceptional hiders!

My smallest one swims down inbetween my grass plant, and literally wedges himself into it, i could find him for a good 3 hours, then filters off, and a gentle look around, his ickle head popped out XD
