Haha, I think that was a very slick move, pushing the poor things to the front! Poor veils, bless their cupped souls... That scene just sounds HORRIBLE! I know if that happened in my W*M I'd be harassing everybody in a rage! Our Wal*Mart bettas always seem to be well taken care of and I'm pretty sure their water is changed daily... I guess I'm one of the lucky ones though. I'd probably swell up in tears if I came across so many dead bettas.

And hurrah for BettaMomma! That's great news! Now you'll be able to make headway with ALL stores instead of picking at one at a time based on information through the forum! Keep us updated on what happens. Hopefully we'll all be seeing results!

The major thing that POed me, is that I WORK at a pet store. We have like 25 bettas in cups...and it is NOT that hard or time consuming to clean them! Its just pure laziness....

Yep, I totally agree.

Lots of people just aren't comfortable with saying anything. That's what I am here for!

Please do let me know if things change in the store. I most times make a call and then don't ever get updated on how things went from there.

I can't even BEGIN to tell you the tyrade I would have gone on had I found that many dead ones. I would have gotten a cart, put them all in and headed up front NEAR THE CHECKOUTS, and asked for a manager to come up - then ranted and raved and stomped out the door, after deliberately jotting down the district manager's phone number and the manager's name - along with grabbing a handful of feedback forms.

I would have been IRATE. No, BEYOND irate. Those poor, poor fish.
