Parrots Hiding?

My two new parrot fish seem very shy? Whenever i enter the room they duck for cover? And are slow to come out for food. Is this typical?

It is becasue they havent established a territory yet and are easily frightend. What size tank are they in. What are the water parameters, and what else is in the tank?

Its a 30 gallon and there are 2 bolivan rams (im getting a 55 in the spring) and the parrots are less than 2".

The rams seem to be adapting okay but are a little skidish, ohh and the parrots have been in for 1 weeks.

ust give them time. Rams are always skittish. The parrots will be fine.
