Parasite ?

Hi guys, on close inspection of one of my almost due guppies i've noticed ( and this may sound a bit unusual ! ) something which resembles Red undigested Camomba stalks protuding from the anal region of her. It doesn't appear to be disturbing to her as she is swimming/feeding in the usual manner, she is already in a seperate tank away from her tank mates so quaratine isn't an issue. I've never seen this before and would be grateful for any help ! Thanx in advance...

Sounds like callamus worms. Post in the hospital section. Not sure if the fry will make it.

Not sure if you will be able to find the treatments he used in the UK, but still alot of good info.
