Well I never. My rio has been taking a back seat to my other tank lately and is a few days past a water change. It was my wife who noticed the fry.

So the panduro pair have taken over a third of the tank and are chasing the rest of the fish away. Never had fry before so am in unknown waters here. Will they survive by themselves or should I get a fry net. Also what do fry normally eat.

Niiiiice!! Micro worm and really fine baby brine shrimp are good to feed, as is crushed tetra prima. Regular water changes also help them to grow.

Love it, you got soft water mark? Panduro are my fav, where did you get them from originally?

Good stuff. :good:

My water is super soft. I have coral chips in the filter just to keep it above 6. Usually hangs around ph6.4. Off to the buy micro worm/fine baby brine shrimp tomorrow.

edit: Bought them in my LFS 5 minutes away.

This topic has made me puddi  for the none internet geeks, puddi is the new jelly - jelly is jealous?
"You jelly? no, i'm puddi" :fun:

good luck with the fry, i know who i'll be messaging IF mine ever decide to make me proud :good:

My panduro fry are doing well. Mum and dad are good parents chasing off the other fish.
There must be about 20 of them. A few can be seen on the wood.
