Well I have finally decided to give Panda Corys a go. I have seen on this site that a lot of people get a lot of enjoyment out of them even if they are a little bit more difficult to keep than your traditional Cory types.
I bought 3 of the little critters and they have been in my tank for about 4 hours, 1 of them is already shoaling with my 2 brochis.

Hope to get some pictures on here soon and will keep you updated on how I get on with the corys!!!

Congrats lovely little things, great to watch.

They are absolutely superb and a lot more active than I thought they would be in their fist few days!!

I thought one of then was a bit poorly  but it seems like it is OK now. It was just resting on top of a leaf and not moving, when I put hand in to check it the fish hardly moved but I think it may have been because it was quite late and it was probably tired!!!

I just hate it when I think that there is something wrong with them, especially the panda's because I have heard people say that they are one of the hardest Corys to look after.

Anyway, hopefully everything will be Ok, I'll keep you posted!!

what size are they?

they are a lot easier to keep when they are older :)

we have 3 out of our original 6... we keps loosing the smaller ones... they bigger ones have now been with us about a year and now live with 4 Adolfis :)

Hi ghent_3rd :)

Good luck with your pandas! They are delightful fish and, while they are not the easiest cory to keep, IMHO, they are among the most rewarding.

I agree with smithrc that if you can raise them to maturity, they seem to be easier to keep than the young ones. They are among the corys that will breed readily in a home aquarium too, but unlike the C. aeneus or C. paleatus, they must be fully mature before you will see any eggs. :D
