Panda Or Pygmy

Ok thank you for that information but it is a shame as I brought the bigger tank so that I could add more fish to the tank but if people think that the tank is full then I will follow your advise from Tom

Yeah, I'm sorry it's not what you wanted to hear!

If I take the rummies out would I be able to fit a bigger shoal of different fish in or is 7 the maximum for most species in that tank from Tom

You could fit more in, if they were significantly smaller than the rummys.

Ember tetras, for instance, are half the size (adult at one inch), so you could have a dozen or so of those.

In all honestly, you could probably fit one or two more rummys in, but it hardly seems worth the bother (I wouldn't, but you can if you want

).

FWIW, and this is only my opinion, I think most tanks under 150l or so are best stocked with one, or possibly two, species.

Thank you very much for the advice and do you think that this would be a smart move if I transferred my rummies to my 110 litre tank and took out 6 five banded barbs and 5 neon tetra and put them in my 70 litre instead as they are smaller than the rummies from Tom
