I just got home from a party and was watching my fish tank when I realized my Cory's were super excited over something.
So I watched them and I realized my largest cory had eggs clamped in her fins!
I sat there watching them for a good five minutes and watched as she was chased around by three other four corys.
Anyways in the last little while I've watched my momma cory find spots for her eggs. I watched her swim under the leaves of my amazon sword plants and I can see three eggs. None my other fish are showing no interest in them. I'm planning on leaving said eggs there.

So I'd like some information like:
How many eggs can Cory's lay
How do i tell if they're fertile
How long do they take to hatch
what can I do to help them along without actually moving them

And any other relevant information anyone feels I need to know.

Normally I would look this all up myself but it's almost midnight and I'm tired (But typing very well for how much partying I did) So don't mind me being another one of 'those' posting newbies :p
But I had no idea I was expecting :p *Sqeeee*

Hi KrystaK,

Let me give you this link that one of our members wrote. It will give you some basic information to get you started.

http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/165155-the-breeding-of-corydoras-catfish/

Tomorrow, do post back here and ask questions. I have a picture that might interest you but I will have to find it.

Thank you for the link :)
Unfortunately when I checked this morning there was only one egg left. I was planning on moving them and adding an air stone as the article suggested, but as only one is left I will leave it. I guess I'll wait until next time and try and save some as soon as I notice them :)
Maybe a miracle will happen and the egg will hatch before one of the other fish finds and eats it
