ive got 4panda corys, still small 1cm , i was wondering how you tell which is male and which is female, coz mine all look the same except 1 ,which is a got a lot more whiter colouring on its body. they look same size from above, and the top fins are all same shape.i think, im hoping i havent got 4 the same

Not entirely sure if it applies to pandas, but most cories you can tell the girls are a bit bigger and plumper than the sleeker and smaller males. It might take a while to determine what yours are since they're so young. Why only 4?

What other fish do you have? I'm willing to bet the julii is actually a trilineatus. Julii cories are very rare. Can you get a photo?

Your pandas are still wee juveniles by the sound of it,so will be a while before they can be sexed properly, but has mentioned, generally the females big & chunky compared to the slender males :) also once they're adults sexing when viewed from above is more noticeable with the wider females :good:

You could always ask the lfs to swap your bronze for another julii, although has said, they're more than likely a trilineatus(three line corys),they're very often mis-sold has julii's,commonly known has false julli's also :)

Unfortunately, quite a few of the sites show pics of tri's instead of julli's...

Here's your pics,and they're trilineatus corys not true julli's.

Hi mark1973 :)

This is a picture of a pair of my C. pandas. The female is the one on the left and the male is the smaller one on the right. Look at the shape of them as well. The rounded part of the female goes further toward the tail than the male's does.
