Never really had any idea how these two fish would get along with each other. Then strangely enough I see them swimming together in a school. When a Tiger Barb swims above all the pandas follow like ducklings behind the mother. A Tiger barb that has been separated from the school will end up schooling with the panda cories.

This schooling attracts the danios into schooling with them and they're all one big happy family.

Never really had any idea that these fish would get along so well given the Tiger Barb's semi-aggressive reputation.

How big are the Tiger Barbs and what size group do you have? They might not show that much aggression until they get mature.

There's 5 of them and they are 1.25 to 1.5 inches long.

Darnedest thing I ever heard of.

Do you have any pictures?

I wish. Better to have had video.

Tigers might start showing more aggressive behavior once they get bigger. For now it's all schooling type fish in the tank, and everyone is happy.
