Pale Pleco

i just added my pleco (hes at leats 2) ive moved him around alot cause he grew really fast and it never bothered him hed swim around like nothing change but i moved him from my 37 gal and put him in my 125 and he turned really pale and hasnt moved since i put him in im worried he is stressed what should i do my ph is 7.4 ammonia is 0 nitrte is 0 and he just wont move

did you acclimate him to the new tank or just pop him in? what else is in the tank? also, do you know your parameters?

What sort of pleco is he? My bristlenose goes white if something agitates him. He always regains his color though when he settles down.

I agree with aquamanis. Mine have "greyed-out" when stressed or Pissed, or moved. They will also try to blend with the gravel. Is the new tanks gravel lighter then the old? That could be it. I had one in a tank with light colored gravel, and I thought he was sick. I moved him to a tank with black gravel, and he's a BEAUT. Great color and markings.

i checked on him this morning and he was fine he regaind his color and was swimming again i think it was because the gravel was so light

Try raising the temperature. My friend put a heater in, and the once not moving pleco is very active now. And so are all the other fish. Try 80 degrees...
