Painting The Ends

i have painted the rear of my tank black, is there any benefit or not in doing the same to the end panels

there is no benefit to painting the back or sides other than an aesthetic one

personally i like to look in the sides of my tank to see things from a different angle

Yep if you painted the sides you'd only have one viewing angle which isn't a bad thing as this can make it look like a piece cut from the sea so yeah it can make for a very nice looking tank but it's down to personal preference as un painted tanks can look good to it also depends on the location if there's a comfy chair right next to the tank then it doesn't make sence to paint it lol
