I want to paint the background of my tanganyikan tank black. I don't want to paint the glass as I plan on upgrading the tank in the near future and selling the current one. I just want to paint the stick on background. Anyone done this and know the best type of paint to use? Thanks

Just use tile paint to paint the glass, it comes off easy with a razor afterwards.

If you really don't want to paint the glass why bother painting the background sheet, just buy a sheet of black card or something.....way cheaper and easier.

Agreed. I've always used spray paint and if I want it of I just scrape it.

I just use black bin liners. Cheap, easy, waterproof and easily replaced :)

Cool thanks for the replys guys. I've used big bags before didn't really like the way it looked
