All of my fish are quite young and I'm planning to get a new 100 gallon tank early next year - I was just wondering if it would be ok to add three more tiger barbs at the moment? According to practical fishkeeping I can as the tank has been running for 6 months (2 inches per gallon rule apparentley). But I know that my cichlids and catfish are messy......Not had any probs with nitrite or ammonia but my nitrate is quite high (60ppm) and I regularly have to use nitra-zorb - largely due to the 50 ppm content of my tap water.

Thanks
Andy

Would I need to give some fish to the lfs in order to safely accomodate more tiger barbs (they'll take any fish ecept the blood parrots)??

Thanks
Andy

stocking wise, i think you'd be okay, provided you have good filtration, seeing as how you have messy cichlids already, don't want to over tax your filter if it can't handle more.
