Overstocked Or Not?

That's not normal...

What could be so good about that sand though? The female seems to keep eating at it and take the bloodworms that fall immediately. Same female also seems to be passing the grains of sand through her gills similar to my catfish and scooping up stuff and eating it.

I am reading this with interest, as I am also heavily stocked. All stats are great, medium-heavy planting, and I believe a good distribution between levels in the tank. Also, the fish I have chosen are IMO low waste producers, and my nitrates actually reduce between water changes due to the plants. From watching the fish, all are happy, and the DG, rams and Corys are continually spawning so I guess they are not stressed. Having said this, I am always conscious of my stocking level.
