It isn't easy to see her in this picture.. But I have a mature platty that I think is having some problems. She is so bloated that you can see skin between her scales and she is very lazy and won't swim around. She has the white spot by her anal fin so I'm guessing the bloating is a massive, corked up pregnancy.
So.. Is there anything that I can do to help her? She is seriously round, the only part that isn't bloated is her head, and she has been growing over the past two days. (I didn't notice her until I moved my ball of java moss and found her hiding under it..)
There has been many births over the past few weeks in my tank.. I would say that I have 20+ for-sure survivors and 20+ very small new-borns in the moss.. Maybe some are hers that have escaped?
