Overcrowded Tank?

I'm confused... I've heard from places that hatchetfish only need 10 gallons... Whilst others say 50 so which is true..

IMHO 25 gallons plus and thats depending on measurements,like i said they need swimming sace.

Well the dimensions of the tank are as follows for the 250 litre

40 inches in length by 18.8 inches for width and 29 inches in depth

Is this large enough for a school of 6 glass cats and assuming maybe 5 peppered cories?
