outdoor tank

Hello

I have two goldfish that will eventually need a bigger home, I had intended to put a pond in the garden but have thought that a glass tank outdoors would be quite nice, especially illuminated at night.

Has anyone done this?
can anyone think of any issues?

depends where you live. do you get any frosts? if so then the tank will break.

I don't think it would work as in the summer the heat would heat the glass up, then in winter it would freeze.

you could gte an acrylic tank which would be ok in the winter but still in the summer it's going to be like an oven.

you can build a raised pond with a window though.
