Thanks for all the comments - especially the one about Rusty looking well looked after. After losing two plecs recently, that honestly made my day *sniffle* Thanks, all the other fish are doing great, 'twas just a freaky week I guess.

I think I fell on my feet with Rusty - he's one of the brightest ones I've seen (well, to be fair, I've only ever seen photos of other rusty plecs - none in person!). I cant believe that back in June, he was only 2" or so and looked like this:

thats what I mean - Just look at him now, The only rustys I've seen (LFS had 2) looked as your picture. and to be honest i really dont / didnt like them - yours has turned me round bright colourations and hes outgoing

Smithrc - when I got him, I liked him because he was different to any other plec I'd seen in my LFS (who rarely stock anything other than gibbies, commons and L001s - even had to ask them to order in BNs!), Kathy picked him up in Leeds knowing I'd love him. Even then I had no idea how beautiful he'd turn out He's not quite as red in real life, but not much duller - certainly much brighter than any other rusty I've seen. I love him - he's a git sometimes (although his temper has just about disappeared since the common arrived!), but he's a babe.

with our new Rio 240 in the lounge, we're just trying to work out what centerpiece plec to put in it...

(I know there are a few in here already but...)

Its a toss up at the moment between Spot, our LDA33 or George, Our L114.... decisions decisions...

Nothing suitable for your tank I'm afraid. I've got two red shouldered severums (get to 12" and would possibly eat half your fish lol), which I was planning on selling, but today have been acting suspiciously like they're pairing off, so unsure as to whether I'm selling them any more or not.

Sorry - to be honest, it's not a common occurence that I have anything for sale, as what I buy, I buy to keep (I'm not a shop - just a pet owner like you)
