I just thought I'd share some of our pleco pics with you all. They are probably one of our favourite fish!

One of our Bristlenose, Snowball and Green Phantom sharing a moment together!

Thanks Lisa.
We wanted to make sure that most of them didn't get too big because of tank size. The Magnum will get to about 12" but he's one of our favourites. The trouble is we keep seeing them and want to buy them!

Hi stang1

Great pics of the plecs! Can really see their colours. I am very jealous of your phantom. He looks just like my Louie (RIP Louie) looks like a nice specimen.

What is the one you have labelled as a Peckoltia? He looks a little like my L075 but the markings are a little different. Mine doesn't have stripey bits on his fins, he only has spots.

Anyway, great pleco collection!

My 2 Bristlenose Plecs are just over an Inch and have Bristles forming so im assuming from that yours is a female, as i cant seem to see any.

Thanks for all your comments! :)

Bex, after a lot of searching Bloo came to the rescue and we discovered he is an L205. Haven't found loads of info on him but he won't get much bigger than he is now.
The lfs couldn't sell him after having them in their tank for 8 months and my partner took pity! I must admit, he's one of our favourite plecos now!

Dark Entity, you're right the bristlenose is a female. I have a male and female bristlenose in another tank, although the female is twice the size of him!

Nice collection :)

Your bristle nose dosnt look like a common by the way.... might be worth a look about to see if you can ID him ;)

As far as we know he's just a plain old Bristlenose, thats what we brought him as.
We've got a friend who works at an lfs popping in this week, I'll double check with him. :)

this is a "common" Ancistrus Sp3.

Yours has a strikingly different pattern! :)

Looks like it could be an Ancistrus Claro - PC Link
Have you seen its mouth? it is longer and flatter rather that round?
