Our New Marine Tank - Daughter Of Seffieuk

The torch came from lfs down the road, and the hammer from Mark at P.A.H :D .. Hammer has 4 heads and the other has 3...

Well we thought we should update everyone on our tank as its been awhile..

Tank stats
Sg 1.025
Ph 8.2 ish
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Water change 10 % weekly,

We manage to get 2 more sets of T5's for free so took the T8's out and now running 2 white and 2 Blue T5's and have another set to make it 6 but leave it at 4 for now :good:

We'll thats all Flasher wrasse pic was in bag due to hav'nt seen him since he went in but hopefully we'll see him tomorrow........ :unsure:
 
AWW thanks! :D the flasher wrasse has come out this morning so i'll try and get another pic of him :good: .

But Mr zipzap forgot to put that we have a sand starfish aswell :good: i love him hehe. plus i have a short video witch i will try to get on aswell :hyper:

Stunning wrasse folks..tank is coming along really well now...
As the tank is still young it may be best to try to spot feed the sand sifting star for a while..these guys feed on micro fauna in mature sand beds..you may not have a lot for him to nibble on yet so pop some frozen near his legs, or even better to set him on top of some for a while to ensure he is feedng

ps you got free t5 lights, phew, how do you do it!?
 
Yes was going to feed the hare after, we have found on peteducatiol.com that we can feed it par boiled lettice. and also found on there that the starfish will eat misis shrimp, brineshrimp and shell fish. :good:
