In February we got ourselves a little male in Nottingham and he was so shy, but very beautiful. Today went to Maidenshead aquatics in derby, and found a lovely female. It has taken them about 2 hours to find each other, but they are so cute together. He dug holes, she dug holes, they are both swimming around. So hopefully they'll be the best of friends as well as make the tank look gorgeous.

I swear, I haven't seen him happier (apart from when they get bloodworms for dinner!! )

Wow just stunn-ING ! I'm sure they'll have some babies for you and follow the otos' suit ;)

Looks like a very fat QA you have there! I have 5 myself, lovely fish! I would hope to breed them at some point but i just don't have the time at the moment.

What do you feed yours? mine have always preferred a meaty diet of whole prawn, mussel, carnivore pellets etc.

Ben

Thanks Ben

At the moment we are feeding them catfish chips and they love the shrimp pellets. We give them bloodworm too. Next time we go round to our LFS we're going to get them some frozen prawn and mussels.

Good luck on hopefully breeding your QA's one day. I would like more, they are so lovely. Our female is still friendlier than the male, but I have to say, he's a lot more happier and outgoing than before. He comes out a lot more and loves seeing the angels and bronze corys off. Keep well and thanks for the reply. Carmen :D
