our new Betta

Mrshouty and I just got back from meeting Joker and picking up the pretty betta he let us adopt. He is still getting adjusted it seems and has been fairly quiet, though he has been intimidating the ghost shrimp.
We can't really do justice with our camera. And in honer of Joker we have named him.....drum roll please.....Joker.

Please excuse the rather extreme amount of algae, that will hopefully be cleared up soon via.

yep he's a plakat, just a juvie! I read that sometimes bettas will eat the ghost shrimp, after I got them, of course

It seems to depend somewhat on the size of the tank.Mine will go after the shrimp if I put one in with them in a 1g container.But anything 2 gallons and up,they don't seem to mind them.I rather think they just don't care to share a small space with much of anything else.

Looks like hes still a little stressed....

I think a nice batch of frozen BBS will do the trick.....

Thank u for naming him joker I really like that name.

I hope he has a very nice and long life with u guys.....
