Yeh we was browsing around the fish store and kayla wanted some black molleys for our 10 gallon tank and we seen this betta in the tank with them doing fine and it was so pretty so we couldnt turn it down.

his tail is actually an extremely light blue and tipped with red but when you turn a light on or the light or something hits him he turns the aqua green color its amazing.

Well he looks happy to be in his home :D Dontcha just love it how their coloring changes depending on the light?
My newest boy is like that. He has the butterfly pattern so the tips of his fins are white... they glow blue, green and pink depending on where you view him from.

Anywho.... your new lil guy looks great!
I'd keep an eye on the temp of the water though. Just make sure it doesn't get too cool.

Nice fish, I could've sworn I saw you post the other day you had not more room for any more betta :p

Haha yea i thought i saw that to lol. But i sooo know what its like when you see a beauty there looking at you, you just have to have him no matter what.

He's a lovely boy

Nice looking betta, but isn't there a chance the mollies will nip his fins?

God Bless,
Joshua

hed been livin wit em for a\ couple months wit no problems so i dont think so and yeh we kinda didnt havent much room lol butwe added em to the 10 gallonn tank

Joshua, Mollies are meant to be peaceful with Betta I thought? Have read that a lot, ideal tank mates apparently. I guess each tank is different, but it's guppies, danios and barbs that are the notorious fin nippers.

Love his colours actually saw some like him in a lfs recently but as I have enought tanks with betta's I held myself back.

Only comments about his tank are

1. is it heated cause I can't see a heater, if not what sort of temp is in there you will need at least 25c to keep him healthy and fit ?
2. you will need a lid cause I've seen betta's decide to jump out of their tank at the slightest thing

I guess it depends, because some people will even suggest black mollies for a tankmate with a figure eight puffer.

God Bless,
Joshua
