Oscars Have Itch

Are you sure its whiitespot.
You leave the temp up till spots have gone, then leave high temp another week once spots have disappeared.

DO not treat until absolutely sure its whitespot

and 3 oscars in the tank is a death sentance for aatleast one of them i'm afraid never keep oscars in odd numbers its either 1, 2 if you get a decent tempered couple of fish or 4/6 but that needs huge tank.

forgot to add if tank water is of good condition the O will heal pretty quickly with no meds dosed but melafix wont hurt and will help stop infection but your water stats seem good enough to let it heal naturally

oh ! i was woried about having 3 but have another tank just in case, missus will sht a brick though :)

dont think it is white spot, I thought there was some parasite that caused itching ?

Flicking and rubbing can be bad water quality, irratation due to meds or something in the tank, parasites, fish do flick now and then but dosn't mean there anything wrong.
If there flicking alot then there is something wrong.

its the first time ive seen them do it today, maybe im jumping the gun, will hold off on the temp change and put some melafix in now and continue to monitor stats for while longer.

and will keep an eye on the oscars for any signs of aggression as they mature thx

goto go but thanks all for helping.
