The sev, JD, and Festivum are around 2-3" and the gourami is around 4-5" ( BIG, Evil Gourami). The oscar is around 2" but HE probly grows faster right?

4-5 inches isn't big or evil for a gourami run a search for a giant gourami, then you'll see big, as in a few feet of fish They have one at an lfs near me and boy is he huge!

Well if your gourami is truly aggressive it will dominate the oscar and Jack Dempsey (which I doubt when the two get larger) If the JD is still young when you get the baby oscar, maybe they will have a better chance of getting a long. I would maybe set up another tank just incase they start attacking each other in the future. Then you could take one out before one gets killed. Then you can figure out what to do with it after. Although I don't think you should get an oscar. The oscar will most likely want to take over the 55 gallon you have.

iv heard that a more common size is 10" for an oscar. I do have someone who could take it if it grows too big for my tank an di know that one of the LFS's near me will buy it from me for store credit if it gets too big so im not worried if it gets huge.
