I am not sure if this is the right place to post this so if its not I am very sorry. I just need some advice hopefully by tonight. I have a 90gal with 1 aqua clear filter for a 110gal and a penguin bio wheel filter for a 75gal. The filters do a damn good job keeping the tank clean after my two oscars. The small oscar is about 5 inches and the larger one is about 8 inches. My question is would it be ok to put in another 10" oscar for a while assuming they all get along? The LFS has a very sad looking O that has been there for way to long and it breaks my heart to seem him the way he is but at the same time if he would be worse off in my tank I dont want that either. I am very thankful for all the help I may recieve. Thanks alot.

I definately want to upgrade to atleast a 300gal which I know is more then enough room for all of them. How long do you think before id need to upgrade? Worse comes to worse Ill have to buy another 75 gal just for one of the oscars in the future. Thanks alot for the help.

If it's a temporary situation I would give it a shot, keep up on water changes and bring home a divider with the fish in case there are any aggression issues.

there can be real issues with putting oscar's together, especially once they're getting towards adulthood. you know the temperment of your fish the best so you'd be the best person to say if they'd accept a new friend. ask at the lfs about the oscar, if they've been looking after him they'll know if he's agressive or docile. if you think it'll be ok then get a tank divider and try it out, make sure you agree with the fish store first that if it doesn't work out you'll be able to bring him back.

thanks alot everyone for the help. Miss wiggle, you read my mind this is exactly what I planned on doing. Im pretty sure my fish will be fine accepting him it was him i was worried about. I planned on talking to the people at the LFS to find out about his aggression and the story behind where he came from. Thanks again for the help. I will swing by there after work today and tonight ill let you know how it turned out.

Thank you I got out of work early and am going to the store now
