Oscar Info Please

Hi ive been doing alot of work for m dad but don't get paid.But today he said he'll get me something for my help.I was going to try and get him to buy me a tank for an oscar.Maybe a tank with tankmates.My question's are:

* minimum tank size
* minimum length,width,depth of the tank
* what to feed the oscar
* max size
*size of tank for tank mates

thankyou i think i may go looking for a cheap 4ft by atleast 18 back.Would prefer 2ft back but i don't know were to put it realy lol.

how big is ya dad willing to let you go?
i think a 5ft/2ft/2ft like mine so you can have some tank mates
food cichlid pellets/hiraki oscar pellets/frozen cichlid food/peas deshelled

Hi will a 2-3 inch oscar be ok in a community tank for a few days? im going up to lfs tmorrow and was going to et a small one.The other ifsh will be miving tank soon.Probs about 3 days or so.The oscar will aventualy be moving intoa 4ftx2ftx2ft asap.Oh the community tank is 4ftx19inchx1ft

It depends on what tankmates he's gonna have. Make sure you don't have any fish small enough to fit in the O's mouth. Also, if you have semi-aggressive fish that have already marked out their territories, you may have problems for a little while...
