oscar fry!!

i asked my lfs for a oscar and it looked preety fat. so a few days later when i cheked my 105 gal i saw all these eggs. i thought it couldve been my one convict but it was a male! is it possible for these to be oscar eggs and wat must i do. plz help me!

Yeah it could be the oscar, alot of cichlids will lay eggs when a male isnt around, or they have just been in a tank that males where in. There isnt anything you can do about it, if theres no male around then they wont hatch, she will eat the eggs.

my little yr old oscar seems to be protecting them in his cave. so i dont relly think the female is gonna get to them
