Oscar feeding habits

Do oscars always beg alot for food even though they arent hungy? He even scans the top of the water as soon as i get done feeding him? Am i not feeding him enough? I am trying to do it twice a day, but maybe its not enough at once. I am using Oscar Bites. THanks for the help.

just oscar bites, hes only about 3 inches

Read that link that need a good diet of frozen, live, and veg if oscars eat veg never had them, or they will be prone to swim bladder and dropsy, a good diet is as important as good water quality.

They will always beg for food but dont give in them and over feed them.
