Ive had 4 posted and they were all ok. They are packed with heat pads so they stay warm & they come next day delivery so they arent in a box too long. Yes someone will need to be in to recieve it.

Hope this helps!!

yeah cheers. only problem is they seem bit dear online but look like nice fish.

am looking to get 5 females but thats works out alot of pennies

Yes, there needs to be someone in to sign for them. They have to be sent Special Delivery guaranteed before 1pm so they are in transit for as little time as possible

Have received and sent bettas through the post this way a few times now and all have arrived alive and well :D

may have to order some then.

joby - do you do discount if ordering a few? also what would you recommend.....i have a 45 litre tank shall iput group of females in or a male?

I ordered 7 off Joby and the day they arrived we had a snow storm :S They all arrived safe and well and the heat pad was still warm so i would have no doubts about doing it again

laura look at "coming through the post" above or below this one I got 2 coming Tuesday...bit scary never had fish thro the post...but very exciting!

have some nice HM red/ Cambodian female about 25 of them, 3 months today can do at £3.00 each..........plus £6.00 postage just put some males from same spawn, on the barracks as they are just starting to nip so will be putting them on site at £5.00 each.........they are red HM cross orange plakat female, nice looking fish, will be hopefully getting photo tomorrow but have people coming to collect fish so may not get round to it.

I regularly send young bettas through the post, they're bagged in a certian way and travel with heat packs to make sure they don't get cold. I've done this many times now with no problems but you still worry until you get word that they're in their new home and pigging out on some bloodworm, lol.

The postage cost is pretty much determend by Royal mail/courier company since it's calculated by weight (more fish=more water=more weight) and to cover the cost of the heatpacks & packaging material.
Unfortunetly it seems that females are rather hard to get ahold of, but the choice of males is excellent!! I would offer myself but most are too young at the moment unfortunetly and I only have a small choice of males (crowntails, plakats & dragons).

Hope you find your special fish :)

Aww see there you go Laura, Bettaman to the rescue

Me thinks its time I came over to see you again Kev and had a nosey in your fishroom :hey:
