How will tank water look with these in there? Will they change the color? I'm going to test out on my 2-gallon first before putting anything in my bigger tanks which are in my living room.

Didn't I report you to the mods before for flaming me? One mod has said that regular water changes ensure a healthy betta and many breeders keep their stock in small containers to avoid fins being ripped.

Please do not respond to any of my posts anymore.

God, how old are you? "I'm not the the one who started it."??? Ugh. . .

Look back, you said if I am being told numerous times to upgrade my tank, then I should.

stay on topic people...

The tint in the water will go with regular water changes :)
Sorry, this IS my attempt as I tried to state the comments of this 14 year old child isn't assisting in my posts, but he isn't listening.

14 and alot more muture than you by the look of it reporting people coz they said your tanks to small grow up.
and yh the reason i said that is coz its true so why dont you do it?

i think there will be a little bit of a tint, but some people actually like it and try to maintain the coloration. it just depends on personal taste i suppose- when i got a piece of bogwood i was so happy with it and i really wanted to see how it looked in the tank so i rinsed it and put it straight in. the fish seemed to like it but the next day......when i looked at the tank it was tinted brown and i didn't like it, so huge water changes (which was silly of me) and i had to go soak it... it's still soaking to this day lol  . anyway, most fish don't mind, but blackwater species love it. there is also meant to be this filter media that can remove the tint while its still in the water, but IMHO i wouldn't because it might impair it's benefits.
Also where did you get them from? they are really good little things, lucky you :good: :D ;) good luck :good:
and its good to test it out like you are going to :good:
