order of stocking?

I put it in my other topic to keep it separate a bit.

I got a "Pyama Wrasse" which i then realised was a 6 line when I got home. They didn't have any firefish :(

Sixline is one of the best fish, IMO, you can own. It probably could have gone in after the other fish, but, probably will be fine. SH

hopefully we'll do fine, the only thing I could of got instead was a perc clown but i don't really want 1 of them making themself a nice territory for half tank with nothing else in. I wasn't sure on anything else.

I take it from here I just keep an eye on the levels just to double check so to speak. What kind of level shall i wait for on Nitrates before i do a water change? It's still at 0!

and last 1 for now....when can I get some corals?

When ammonia is 0 and nitrite is zero, you chane out your water until you get your nitrates down. Since you are starting from scratch, I'd try and get your nitrates down below 10..even 5 before you add your first fish. I didn't add my first coral for over a month after cycling. I'd go slow. Some dump one in there right away. You're gonna get a wave of diatoms, so, I'd wait until the tank settles. SH

oki dokey, best order a can of RO water to have it ready for when the nitrates do rise a bit.

my 90 gallon just finished cycling.

ammonia is zero, nitrites are zero. now im doing 20 gallon water changes with ro di water from my LFS (premixed saltwater) every 3 days.....

its hard to say how many gallons of water exactly i have going thru my system ebcause of my liverock, but im going to say about 80gallons.

i have 119gallon capacity (29gallon sump+90gallon tank)

but i have 160 lbs of liverock in the tank plus the sump is never filled up all the way.

so im just going to do 20 gallon water changes with RO/DI to do two things:

-lower nitrates
-get rid of the cycle water
-dilute the tap water i started the tank on(dilute heavy metals and other things)

right now i have a larger serpent star which i got as a hitch hiker and 1 bangai cardinal...there both doing fine (cardinal is stressed out a bit from me re aquascaping, but he is doing better and eating...)

im about at the same stage as you, i ordered my clean up crew tonight and should be getting them saturday....
