Ok, with everyone showing off their new bettas, I had to get some newer pictures of my own babies. They're coloring up even more now and looking awesome!

Here's girly... she has made friends with her female falx neighbor next door, and now she hardly leaves that side of the tank, even when her manly man is flirting with her! Sorry about the weird lights in the pic, their tanks are across from my window, so it's hard to get good pics during the day.

Aaaaand another odd pic, but I like how it shows his tail so well. Kelly, he has got an incredible spread when it's full - almost total halfmoon, looks just like his dad to me. Also, he is hilariously cute when he flares his gill covers, because they are clear with dark edges! He thinks he's tough... but he's really just cute. Shh...

Last one, of pretty boy. He is incredibly difficult to get pics of when he's flaring, because he flits around the tank like a drunk hummingbird. Gotta catch him in those moments of suspension.

Julie!!! Look at him flare like a little tough guy! One of my boys was flaring a second ago, it reminds me of a little Chihuahua growling at a pit bull, they think they are tough, but really they are just so cute!

They are coloring up a lot, so so pretty

You don't even know how happy it makes me to see him swimming around and flaring like that!!! I could just cry
I felt so bad about the whole 'swimming funny' thing and look at him pull thru for you like a champ

And he does have incredible finnage, out of all the fry his was the BEST, it's a little on the light side but just so perfectly shaped

cpowell - I have them in 1 gallon Kritter Keepers from Walmart. They work very well for bettas. Especially when you are dealing with limited space, like I am!

Thanks for all the compliments guys, I love these two!! Sorrell you are so right, they're like little tiny dogs thinking they are big ones. And wuv, I am so happy with my choice. I knew he had nice finnage, but to get the best one out of the bunch? ) Yey for me, and thanks to you!!

Yeah, it was/is the best of the bunch...the way it almost curled under at the tip, it was just so beautiful, he stuck out in the crowd. You can definitely see the hm genes in him
