After all the fish I have now are gone :-( would I be able to put a couple oranda golfish in my tank or do they get too big?? If I can, how many?? Would anglefish be better than oranda goldfish??

a 6 gallon tank cant house much fish. Just remeber the rule, one inch of fish per gallon.

Goldfish should ideally have 10 gallons per fish and really good filtration - they are not beginner fish IMHO.

Angelfish need a lot of water too, but more specifically, they need a deep tank without much water movement. As cichlids they are also not really beginner fish.

Smaller fish need approx. 1 gallon per fish and don't forget that schooling fish are best kept in groups of 6-8 minimum.

Why not try a school of some White Cloud Minnows? They are happy in cold water, they love moving water (so you can set up fancy bubble rings or bubble walls or whatever), they are very hardy, great beginner fish and extremely pretty. Minnows are small so a school of 6-8 would be fine. You could always add some fancy snails and/or some of those shrimps for a bit of interest in the tank.

Alternatively, a 6 gal tank would be ideal for a single male betta or a pair of dwarf gouramis. Don't forget to make sure you know all about cycling a tank before you introduce anything, however. And you might as well start saving up for a bigger tank now - fish are worse than heroin.

he could try some gupps and some cories after cycling they are very easy fish 2 take care off, just have 2 get hikari sinking wakers for bottem feeders, cories like 2 be in groups so get atleast 2. for cycling i would get 2 MALE guppies and after add another male gupp and then add your cories, dont add them at the same time, and the gupp first then wait a week and get 2 cories. that would be a nice tank. oh wait you dont have a heater, but if you do you can get these cool fish. heaters are cheap i think, get a 25 watt heater if you want. Penn Plax ones only cost like 8 -9 dallors.
