My new betta is constantly getting his fins and tail stuck in my jewel filter.
What can i do
I nees a spoloution asap and havnt really got time to go shoppin!

Do you happen to have an old pair of nylons/pantyhose? You could cut off a section of that and wrap it around the filter.

Or you could cut a piece of thin sponge and put around the filter.

My betta likes to stick himself to my filter. :p

You might have to change the nylon or the sponge once in awhile to get rid of any dirt. Make sure the sponge doesnt have any cleaners on it( some companies automatically put cleaners on teh sponge) if your using a sponge.

Yea I think I heard the pantyhose thing works, but i think it doesnt let the filter work efficiently

Tights? or anything with biggish hole in the holes should be small enough to stop the bettas tail.

My opinion -
when you have time to go shoppin, get your betta boy his own little tank.
They do just fine in something like a 2.5 G tank, then you need not worry about filtration or anything.

Just my opinion- I wouldn't ever put a male betta in with anything else, ever.
