Options For 54 Litre Tank

hi,

i am currently setting up a 54 litre tank (24'x12'x12') and am wondering what my options are before buying any fish.
we have a pond and i was going to keep fish in my tank before moving them to the pond once they have grown.

i have read that goldfish and koi can quickly out grow a tank, so at what size would you recommend moving them to the pond?

would you advise keeping koi in the tank at all?

any help would be greatly appreciated

That tank isn't really big enough for goldfish at all , let alone Koi. If you want some nice coldwater fish then White cloud mountain minnows are pretty and you could have a nice school of around 10-12 or so in that tank. Done out with live plants it could look really attractive .
