Hoping to get in another 4 plecs and a catfish over the week.

it's pretty lucky as I almost ordered from Trimar the week before which would of cost me quite dearly.

I'm getting....

L75 Para Plec
L134 Tiger Peckoltia (didn't have any luck getting this in last time it appeared)
L163 Big Spot Peckoltia
L250 Queen Arabesque ( when i phoned up trimar to order they didn't have these in stock so i waited then they turned up on my lists....woo)

and also I couldn't resist a farlowella (sp) catfish, I'm still not too sure where I'm going to put him as he's going to be around 6".

Also in the Aqua Log book it says 20-25cm for the Para plec but on PlanetCatfish it says 15cm......any ideas??

We have two six inch twig catfish, they may be six inches long but they're only half an inch wide! One will be fine in your tank.

Believe Aqualog, the information is generally more up to date.

heh, kinda of like my L10a's then there about 1 cm wide at the moment, great litle algae cleaners.

I take it the farlowellas like to hide in tall wide leaves?? All my tanks are planted. I'm think my 30" tank will be best for it, my 3ft is getitng a tad crowded in there

Damn!! I don't usualy go for the bigger plecs. Will find some where for it though :D

Cheers, I think i'm coming close to macthing the ammount of L number you have now, After this lot i'll have 10 not including multiplys

Farlowellas don't seem to hide much at all - ours are always very visible and active. They love sucking algae off all the plants. :D

And you are coming up close - we currently have 13 L-numbers out of a total 23 plecos.

Excellent, maybe i'll swipe a few more aswelll  I imployed 2 L10a red whip tails for my Rekord 70 which seem to be doing an OK job but since i put a lance fish in 1 of them is more interested in that

I think it's funny how we have quite a few plecsa but still none the same :fun:

In various tanks. Most of them will go in my 22gallon for now. As I'm ordering most fo the smaller sizes i'm giving myself a bit more time for my new tank to arrive which will be packed with, wood, cobbles, slate to accomondate asmany plecs as possible!

My 25gallon has 5 plecs at the moment so I'll probable put all of these (if they all arrive) in the 22gallon.

apart from for my L71 starry night ancistrus none of my plecs are fully grown so I ave plenty of timeto get my 4fter 360litre up and running.

Well in at work today and all but 1 of them turned up...the L134...this is the 2nd timeit's failed to arrive :(

the others are great though.

so far i'ved only brought home what i think is thw para plec, i say think as there still pretty dull and is hard to ID between the big spot and the para, and the farwella twig catfish out of the plecs....plus 5 black angels and a blue ram.

Tomorrow, it's the big spot, queen arabesque, L10? and 4 normal khuli loach...i have 4 blacks already!!

The queen arabesque though is just stunning, much better looking than a zebra i reakon.

the suppliers also sent what i think is a L10 which looks pretty awesome aswell.

i'm tempted to take a few porthole and flagtail catswe got in aswell

got my other plecs home today and they are absoulutely stunning especially the L260 in the new light

the lizard cat? and queen arabesuqe as very active i'm happy to say and are motoring aorund the tank cleaning it nicely.
