Hi All,

Well, I'm finally at the stage where I can start assembling my nano planted, CO2 injected, red shrimp filled wonder tank :p

The tank is a 15L cube, and will be externally filtered (by turtle filter).

My big idea when purchasing all the elements, was to fit a Juwel black 3d background, and have channels cut to sink the filter pipes into to hide them a bit.

However onf inally unboxing averything the back ground is almost an inch thick, which in a tank that size takes up significant space.

Do you think its worth it? or should I just use some black or white paper?

thanks!

I think by reducing the volume of water further you are only going to make things more difficult for yourself. But then I guess if you only have shrimps and have lots of fast growing plants then maintenance should in theory be minimal...

Voted no before thinking it through...
