Opinion On Java Moss

In your opinion, does it look better on a piece of driftwood, on a flat rock or in the substrate?

I JUST GOT MINE TODAY that i ordered on ebay,

when i opened it up i immediately attached it to my driftwood, it is going to look pretty cool.

Dude... pretty much anything you attach it to it's going to look phat.

I'm going to make a JAVA MOSS WALL! when i get enuf growing
using mesh of course

i love the stuff on my wood. Planted high it cascades down quite nice imo,nd can be shaped as you wish.

How did you guys attach it to wood?

Used cotton to tie it on. The moss will cover it in no time and attatch to the wood on its own then .The cotton will just rot away.

how do you get it to grow on substrate. does it not just float up to the surface?

place it on slate or wood, wrap cotton thread around it and sink.

So by attaching it a little bit, it will attach it self to the driftwood? How lond does that process usually take?

2-3 weeks usually it will begin to borrow into the wood,
just be careful when taking the string or whatever you used to tie it down or else you'll just have to start all over again.

Be safe wait a month

I just tied some on my driftwood today i'll post and tell how long it takes
