i didn't mean to do it. the kids made me. of course i didn't promise before i left the house today that i wouldn't.

found out yesterday that rude lfs was under new ownership. i had to go and see. new owners are just as rude as the old owners. but on the way out there was a BEAUTIFUL red, purple and blue crown tail and it was only.........$5

i had other things to do, other shopping that had to be done, and a baby shower i had to go to. they wouldn't hold him for me. even if i paid for him. so i bought him and he went shopping with us in his little bitty bowl, ) wrapped in a bag to help with stress. he went to the baby shower too.

but he had no where to live when we got home. that bowl was way to small. so i got him a 5 gal hex. hope hubby doesn't notice. or the kids don't rat me out.

Just use the old "I was feeling down and you never notice so I bought myself a present cos you never buy me anything".

You'll be just fine.

If not then use the big guns and bribe him with the promise of jiggy. If he's anything like me he will forget all about the fish tank.

what you do is buy it, set it up and get rid of the boxes etc while he is out. then distract him for a few days. when he finally notices it you look really innocent and say "what? thats been there for ages". it has worked for me 5 times so far.

LOL, that's great. Unfortunately, he'd notice in a matter of hours undoubtably unless I tucked it in one of the spare rooms. And that would require major relocation of furniture!
