Fish Addict
Well, when I left you on Friday I was on my way to betta shop for my office. I have good news and I have bad news. The bad news is that I still do not have a betta for the office. 
The good news is --- I have a newcomer in my bedroom! 
I made the hubby unit go with me to the lfs. I had talked to him about a tank in the bedroom and got the "I'll think about it" answer. When we got to the store I showed him the 2 gal set up and how I wanted it for the office. He said, "Is that the size you're talking about for the bedroom?" "Sure." I replied. "Well, if it won't be any bigger than that I guess it's okay."
We left with a two gallon tank set up and all the extras, including Batista. (I narrowed it down to two bettas and then let hubby choose so he'd feel like part of things). I set the tank up and let it run overnight. He was so used to the little cup that when I first put him in the tank he went to a corner and curled up the way he had been in the cup. It took him a few hours, but once he started swimming around you could tell he didn't know what to think of all the space. He has flared at everything in and around the tank and likes to show off his beautiful blue tail. He is the exact opposite of Jericho. Jericho has a blue body and red fins, Batista has a red body with blue fins. Wish I had a camera. Next week --- Office betta.

We'll let that be our little secret. I already have a corner picked out in the kitchen. Wonder if the kids would notice if I smuggled a few tanks and fish into their rooms?
