Dude, think about it this way. Aside from the overstocking, you don't have a filter on your tank. This means there is nothing to break down the fish waste. If you had to sit in a bath and eat, pee and poo in it for your whole life, and no one changed the water or had a filtration system on it, you would quickly become very, very ill and die. A horrible death.

Trust us, we are not jealous. We all have tanks we love, and many of us keep the fish you have in your tank. So why would we be jealous? We love this hobby, and love to help other people. That's the only reason why people are trying to give you advice- because we love to chat about the hobby and are always more than happy to help out a fellow fish keeper.

And, sorry to sound harsh, if this is your friends advice (the stocking, fish producing oxygen, fish not needing a filter), then he really is no expert.

Take a minute to google each fish you have, and you'll quickly see that the majority of your stocking need a much, much bigger tank.

Got to be someone that's just having a joke with everyone. Ok, many beginners do overstock their tanks from having false information from a LFS and such as well all know and we have all made mistakes at some point but to not even have a filter, go waaaay overboard with the stocking and to completely blank the information given by very experienced people such as this forum members... It just doesn't seem legit. Has to be someone seeing how far he can push us...
