The fishies are getting a makeover!! :hyper: Well, their tank is... I just ordered some new gravel and driftwood for them. A late Christmas present, I noticed tonight that I'm tired of the current rocks and gravel in the tank.

I was always disappointed because I couldn't spoil the fishies with occasional toys like I can my cats. Then I decided... I can give them some new decor!! Can't wait to get it.

Here's the new setup.......... we like it because it's very natural-looking. :)

If you look closely you can see Herbie clinging to the glass towards the right, near the thermometer. Forgive the blurriness of this photo, I was just trying to get a pic of the entire tank.

I like this photo because of the way the colors "pop."

Here's a close-up of Herbie...

Here's a shot of one of the cardinals and one of the black neons...

And here's a blurry shot of two Glowlights... they were very camera-shy and wouldn't stay still!!

It looks very nice, congrats! :good:

Thanks!! Very different from the blue gravel and the ornaments with coral on them, that looked they belonged in the ocean. This looks more like their natural habitat, I think, and they seem happy so far. Herbie has been out and more active than before, he seems to enjoy exploring his "new home." :)

I agree, I never liked those unnatural gravel colors such as blue and rainbow, etc. I have Bronze colored gravel in my soon to be RCS tank :) I really do like the tanks to look natural :) I like the close-ups, and the tetras! :good:
