Only 5 Guppy Fry

Came down this morning to find 5 guppy fry in my tank, Mother was in a tank with 4 other guppies as she didn't look pregnant, managed to rescue the remainding 5 guppies, there were a few dead ones in their and also bits of fry, was it her loving tankmates who possibly ate the rest and damaged the fry?? Or an abnormable pregnancy??

Could be any of those really. If it was her first batch of fry she might have no had many, or may have held them too long as well as some being eaten.

Most likely you had some fry eating going on.
