Have you tried checking out your local freecycle.co.uk.
You'd be surprised at what people are getting rid of. If there's no recent ads, you could place a wanted ad for a tank, as long as you don't mind it being second hand.

Im another for aquariums delivered, had loads of tanks from them, ok so had a few problems with the 5footer recently, but they didnt quibble and sorted it quickly.

Ive also used warehouse aquatics for a juwel tank too recently, so try them too.

Maidenhead aquatics will order whatever you want from the main brands and are normally good for haggling on price if they are local to you. It doesn't cost them any extra to get the tank to the store from their regular suppliers.
