to refresh- i gave away my tank of guppies. when was about to take down the tank , i found 6 tiny fry that i had missed. i put them in one of those net containers to save fry. now all but one are ready to go in another aquarium. if that one stunted growth fry is still tiny, will it ever grow bigger? could i keep that one little guppy in a fish bowl? for sure it would be eaten at his size. 🤷‍♀️

Can't you put the net in the main aquarium and keep the runt in there? My concern with a bowl is potential lack of filer/plants etc, and difficult to clean any leftover food. But if you have the net, why not use it?

He might catch up. Growth rate isn't always the same even within the same spawn. I noticed it more with cory fry than livebearers, they often grew at completely different rates! Last batch there was one fry that hulked out quickly and was three times the size of all the others. But the others caught up eventually! On the other hand, it could be stunted due to some birth defect. But no way to know yet, just have to give him time and wait and see.
